FLOAT

I wanted to create something of calm and harmony, like a gentle breeze, the sound of waves, and the warmth of sunlight.
The feeling of being weightless. Of letting go.
As if everything that happens simply drifts by, while you stay afloat.
I’m the vocalist and songwriter in a band.
While I was working on this drawing, the lyrics for our song “Breathe” came to me.
It’s about finding calm and trusting that you’ll float through the difficult times, and believing that things will soon get better.
